.Personality:
Patient, caring, easy to talk to with a down to earth mothering nature. Her passion is to inspire women to empower themselves & to trust that their bodies are capable (& beautiful). She enjoys being in nature and advocates for mindful living. She is a true creative, intuitive, soulful spirit. Creating art, listening to music, and being a mother & wife bring her joy.
Type of Doula:
Danielle aspires to give women the knowledge & support to have an empowered birth while acknowledging that pregnancy & birth (even postpartum) is a sacred journey for both Mother & partner. She has experienced a variety of birthing styles and understands that every birth is unique and chooses to consciously honor each client and their journey. Danielle is confident with the tools/methods to ease discomfort throughout labor & delivery and is very passionate about working with VBAC clients.
Motivation to become a Doula:
Every woman deserves the birth of her dreams. Danielle wanted to become a doula to support women to have the birthing experience they desire. Through her own birth journey, she has experienced the trauma that occurs when women are not honored or supported in labor & delivery. This is a big part of why advocating for women who had C-sections & want to be given the chance to birth vaginally has become her passion. Giving women the tools they need to heal from prior birthing trauma to inspire and empower them to believe in themselves and their bodies. When issues arise having the coping skills and informed knowledge to overcome obstacles supports both the Mother & partner, and Danielle wants to be a part of that.
